usually my reaction when a website I visit daily goes down is to probably visit that website less or think the backend team behind it is lazy. but when lemmy.world goes down or is under attack, I sympathize and just open it when it's back up. y'all prove that you're hardworking by providing clear communication and explanation on what's happening everytime. shout out lemmy team, you deserve the world!!

please no!! reddit looked like las vegas with that award system. terrible idea!

will reddit enhancement suite work on this? this is fantastic!!! good job lemmy team

vapes

no disk drive and the fucking stand is sold separately! too expensive!

love the transparency and how fast this is!! looks like we will do it lemmy! and reddit can suck a dick

this is brilliant!! thank you so much for creating this and also for giving us sponsorblock. you're the goat!!

I wish I could see more subreddits do this and finally make the switch to lemmy. I want reddit to have just a bunch of teenagers and elderly who have no idea what's going on using it. it'll be a big fuck you to spez

nothing wrong my guy. it just that apps feel more fluid and smooth than web apps on mobile. wefwef is web based but it feels great to use.

Anyone able to log in or this is just a prototype?

switched from LastPass to Bitwarden and I couldn't look left or right

mega.nz is way better than a lot of these cloud storage services+ you get 20 GBs for free. They also have achievement programs where you can get more storage for free. For example, installing the MEGA desktop app will give you an additional 5 GB of storage and installing the mobile app and verifying your phone number can give you another 10 GB of storage. That is very generous!

how is this one different than the standard qbitorrent?

I switched from chrome to Firefox 5 years ago but for some reason, Firefox loading acts weird and video playback also is weird...Eventually moved to Vivaldi and I'm pretty happy wit it so far.

I would definitely support the developer if it was a one time purchase. Paying monthly for an app to browse lemmy ain't it for me

I agree connect has the smoothest scrolling experience of all of them but there is something about the UI and theme that keeps making me go back to wefwef. we can't really tell now but with time I guess, all of them will be enhanced and less buggy, and it'll be just a matter of preference.

not a website but a news aggregator app created by Instagram founders "Artifact"

no doubt. fuck reddit

my YouTube watch time drastically reduced after getting this extension. great addon!

yes sir!! been using niagara launcher since last year and just switched to Vivaldi on desktop lately. damn man, I don't ever see myself using that google launcher ever again on my pixel phone no matter what updates they bake

yes add to the list: r/musicmaking, r/headphones, r/audiophiles, r/indieheads, r/WeAreTheMusicMakets, r/drumkits, r/bandcamp, r/vintageobsecura and I'll be the happiest kid lurking around here

good vibes!! thank you for your work

Love them!! I'm still on pixel 4a and been a fan since the nexus era and I have decided to make it my main flagship forever. unless something changed. the only company piquing my eye right now is the "nothing" company but not switching

growth has been amazing to watch on lemmy

Madlib took a musically innovative approach in the beats and DOOM's intricate rhyme patterns complemented that so well making it a record ahead of it's time, which has definitely transcended the sound of hip-hop imo.

fantastic work lemmy team. with this page I feel like lemme will do it and lemmy tell you, reddit will suffer a big loss!!

what's everyone's thoughts on Vivaldi?

Niagara launcher is the best and the first launcher I ever bought. Very simple and minimalistic and somehow I love the list app design. no clutter

it's about time to change that password and i think lemmy team should have an option in the settings to revoke access we give to third party apps....not sure if that's possible

Madvillainy - Madvillainy, Madlib, MF DOOM

sounds interesting to me, I would definitely give it a try. artifact is not open source and it's AI powered. It seems to do a better job than a lot of news aggregators I tried before

I see a lot of people mentioning Libretube, the only deal breaker is I can't login but love that it's open source and minimal than ReVanced. is there a way to login to my g account on Libretube?

sounds like an air strike to me, or maybe just an accident
