But also I must say this is one of the strangest questions ever. Hope you're not a "transabled" wannabe.

Lol no I'm not transabled. I didn't even know what that was, had to Google it.

It crossed my mind because when I sleep I always feel my arms get in the way, thought it would be great to detach your arms for sleep. Then I wondered if people without arms have a noticeably more comfy sleep because they can lay on their side without their arm/s getting in the way, thought continued to other hidden benefits of missing limbs.

There's a girl on YT who has one arm and said exactly that - "I don't know how you people with two arms sleep" I think.

You'd need to keep at least one arm for scratching, and reattaching the other arm.
