Also, free software is about freedom, not about a strong state that solves everybodys problem, which is what "leftists" seem to prefer.
I think it's toned more towards the fact that Free Market's incentive (which is a right trait) would be money and thus Closed Source where as Common Good would be the left incentive not necessarily centralized, Like a Libertarian Left
