Why are teenagers not children? Please explain.

Because childhood has a definition

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Child

A child (pl.: children) is a human being between the stages of birth and puberty

As the parent of a 13-year-old: They're still children.

13 year olds get pregnant and get others pregnant. That's by definition not a child

You're clearly not a parent.

And if a 13-year-old can get pregnant and aren't a child, do you think it's okay to have sex with them?

I never said it's okay to have sex with them, I'm simply telling you that anyone after puberty is not a child by definition
