That Kingdom Hearts one is more like reaching on their tiptoes
During promotion of the game, they tried to say it was going to be canon. But I think it got misconstrued by PR. I think the intention was that they wanted the movies of the pixar worlds to be canon to kingdom hearts, not the other way round. But they didn't state it as such.
