How standardized a lcd panels? Could I replace the controller in a smart TV with one of these HDMI to LCD controllers?

If you wrap the TV in tinfoil, it'll be a faraday cage and block all WiFi

I just keep my TV embedded in a block of lead.

But then even Superman can't watch ads on it!
