Mildly disappointed that no one mentioned leaving reddit for lemmy, but also mildly impressed at the level of commitment of these redditors.

Ahh if that’s the case, then I have no sympathy to those who choose to stay. They deserve whatever half baked idiocy reddit will throw at them.

Well sites that push away used go in stages. The earlier one was people leaving because it was just shit in general.

Then shittier with dumb policies like APIs

Then people who stayed and said it couldn't possibly get THAT bad end up seeing that yes it can

Admittedly I felt that way about Twitter but the constant boosts of shitstain bluetlickers made it way more intolerable than I ever could have imagined

why would they? this whole stunt is a distraction. and look how well it works, even on lemmy. half the comments are golf claps.
