In the first wide-ranging analysis of school board unrest, ProPublica found nearly 60 incidents that led to arrests or criminal charges. Almost all were in suburban districts, and nearly every participant was white.

I really fucking hate the assholes that do shit like this. I know they've always existed, but it seems like every single issue they come up with was resolved decades ago. America is backsliding HARD and I have no intention of going down with it.

It's kind of wild reading about turn of the 20th century progressive activists. Everything that they advocated in 1900 is still considered radical today, 100ish year later. The American south was a hotbed for literal communism back then.
