I've noticed that lemmy as a whole is much more leftist than reddit (outside of political servers of course)

I can't really think of a reason for that as Reddit is hated somewhat equally by "both" sides of the spectrum. It's just something I find interesting.

Well I strongly disagree with most of the communists so I just avoid lemmy.ml

The communists are from lemmygrad I think.

That is just an offshoot of lemmy.ml. They are both tankie dominated instances.

Tankies are just fascists with red paint, and we all know what the only good fascist is.
