Zorin OS 16.3 is our first version that comes pre-installed with the new Zorin OS Upgrader. This is the feature our community has requested most throughout the years.
Zorin OS 16.3 is powered by the same version of the Linux kernel as in Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (GA). It comes with updated drivers, bringing even better compatibility with more hardware. That includes support for newer components like NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070, 4060 Ti, and 4060 graphics cards out of the box.
While I'm not the largest fan of the windowslike style, Zorin looks impressively clean and sleek.
Zorin is probably the perfect linux system for someone else
It is really stable and the look is awesome for new comers to Linux.
I was gonna say, if you gave this to someone with little tech skills you could make them believe it was Windows probably forever
They offer a layout switcher (like Manjaro GNOME) which also has Mac, Ubuntu, and GNOME options! It's all basically pre-riced GNOME extensions
Zorin was my first linux distro, rn I'm using Debian 12. Reason I'm not using it anymore is mostly because I was distro hopping a lot trying fedora Ubuntu mint arch manjaro, etc. I wanted to try to install gentoo but my lenovo laptop with pentium processor and 4 GB ram will take too slow to compile everything
