I gotta say, the turnaround of the Sonic franchise of game after game ranging from mediocre to downright broken, to where it is now has been amazing. Mania, Frontiers, a murder mystery? What a redemption.
I've never been the biggest Sonic fan because I grew up in the dawn of the era of shit Sonic games, but I love to see it. This game looks beautfiul so far
This is the first Sonic game since Sonic Mania that got me very excited at the reveal trailer stage.
Sonic games between Mania and Superstars have been quite 'meh' for first impressions. I love Sonic Frontiers, but it took watching streamers play it to get me interested as the trailers made the game look incredibly boring.
I am wildly excited, it looks like an actually good sonic game.
"I have fond memories of playing Sonic 2 with my brother growing up, and I’m glad that kids today will still get to have that experience."

Or their older brother was one of those saints that stopped periodically to allow Tails back onto the screen.
