The title is misleading. He didn't just lie about his dad dying. He literally forged his academic credentials, test scores resume. Everything. He absolutely deserved to get kicked out. That scholarship should go to someone who isn't such an entitled ass.

I realize this is a case of a foreign person committing fraud to get into an American university, but I honestly thought going into it that kids are that desperate to pay for college these days without taking out punishing loans. And I'm sure there are American kids desperate enough to commit fraud for that purpose too.
