The concentration of the webtech nerds from r/piracy at [@piracy](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/c/piracy) is a sight to behold. Brings a tear to my eye. May a thousand Gazelles bloom from it

This community actually is much more interesting than r/piracy which a lot of the time just felt like piracy for dummies, not to mention the pressures of hosting a piracy community on a corporate platform that wanted to completely disassociate with us

Finally, our own ship to sail the seas! The spez mutiny brought better times for this crew.

The way to link communities is !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com, just FYI. Basically !community@instance

OP is a Mastodon user.

Mastodon doesn't actually have communities built in, so if you want to post in a Lemmy community you have to @ the community. (That means that there's a decent chance this post was an accident, since linking to a community and posting to a community is the same on mastodon)

You're right. It would be nice if Mastodon users had little elephant icons beside them lol.

fuck this is a gay post lmfao
