Couldn't find any, which I assume a study into abortion numbers and details should be introduced along with any changes to the laws in question.
So just to be clear: you've invented this theoretical issue, and despite there being no evidence for it, you're worried that it could be real? So much so that you think we need to change existing laws to accommodate for this theoretical issue that has no evidence of existing?

There is no reason to believe this is not something need to be addressed in new laws when considering abortion.
For example is seems that in the UK clincs are not allowed to provide information about fetus sex and restrict it to genetics information.
In canada, there were clinic that open mainly for people to knwow the fetus sex leading to sex-selective abortion.

Having to abort because you can't afford it and have social security net, is different than not wanting to have a baby and different than not wanting to have a girl or a boy for social reason.
Therefore, I argue that before a modification for a law to happen, a basic statistical analysis of abortion in the country with a few more details such as age, sex, clincs location, ethnicity and income are essential to create set of laws that support people to make the right decision.
Note, searching for details in France is tricky because need to maybe the search need to be French to find more details.
I mean, if someone would abort a baby just because it's a girl, they are probably better off not having a baby anyways. I don't get why you think making people have babies when they don't want them to the point of deliberately ending the pregnancy is a good idea, no matter the reason for wanting to abort.
