Made by a woodworking youtuber (blacktail studios) I watch sometimes.

Fuck, that actually kinda works. I didn't immediately notice it was Jeans fabric, and it has a nice texture for this kind of thing.

He has another video (his most recent one) where he makes a "damascus" jable too, which also looks great. He puts little bits of wood to make the denim lumpy before adding the epoxy and sanding it flat. It makes a really cool wavy pattern.

The material explains the choice of community. It's good the connection isn't more literal
