And yet, it's exactly the point. He broke the biggest campaign promise that caused me to vote for him. Now we're exactly where we don't want to be.

I have to vote for him because the alternative is infinitely worse. I don't think he can win. Fuck the DNC and Biden for not foreseeing this and sticking to the promise.

My blocklist is insanely long. All sports, all furry shit, people from both, anime blocks all day - can't stand the stupid mains/moe stuff.

Yeah. Just ask the Parliamentarian. /s

Definitely the most important part of this story. Glad you're here to point out the big stuff.

Corporations cut corners because the fines they're issued by the government don't go far enough. They get a slap on the wrist and work it out in the wash.

What a tragedeigh

Squeezing us to the breaking point has consequences? Crazy.

I'll believe it when I see it. We will never see him behind bars. Two tiered justice system.

It's really not, though. I am anti-Hamas and anti-Israeli government. I am pro-civilian - a group comprised mostly of Palestinians and Israelis in your thought experiment.

You see, neither Hamas nor the Israeli government have their people's interest in mind. However, you can't really cherry pick aspects of Fascism and anti-Fascism and say, "sEe? BoTh SiDeS!"

Let's practice this together, folks. "Corporations never put their employees or customers ahead of profits."

If you believed them at their word, you'd be wrong.

I keep seeing this posted everywhere. The author has no idea how Venn Diagrams work.

The ones waging this fucked up war. Hamas and the IDF can fucking rot.

Waiting 2 years to prosecute this dipshit was political. They should have brought charges sooner. Instead, they drag their feet into election year, making it appear intentional.

Our government is so fucking incompetent. Dude admits to a crime openly and they still manage to fuck it up.

I agree with the decision. I take exception at calling ANY billionaire "progressive." The author is bent.

You could have ended the sentence at "claims."

How about not use Chromium? Mozilla/Firefox browsers actually provide privacy protections. Like actually, not chrome plated promises.

Don't you? If anyone doubts he has a chance, you're not scared enough.

Neutrality isn't the mark of good journalism. Questioning the position of governments is. Asking "why" in the context of how it affects people is.

No news organization is neutral. There's a story and a length of time for each segment. The editors and anchor decide what to say and how to say it in that allotted time. That forms a message, and that in itself shows bias, intended or otherwise.

Instead of focusing on neutrality, they should focus on objective truth, and stop worry about which party they're implying to support.

At the risk of sounding like Spinal Tap, why don't they just make the chargers stop at 80% and have the interface show 100%?

Edit: woops. Appears that's already a thing.

If they weren't all so abysmally bad at handling their cars, maybe I'd have a different take. I swear that I get cut off, stuck behind, blocked by, or otherwise inconvenienced for dumb reasons by Teslas every time I drive.

It's like despite all the cameras, they have zero spatial awareness. Or it's a direct reflection of what's in their head.

Hope I can ride the 10 wave as long as I rode XP.

Yep. Thanks for mentioning it. Wasserman Schultz and her cronies gave old Sanders the shaft after HRC paid off the DNC debt.

"Democracy."

But they have a house. 50-100k or not. They got in. Some of us have that now, barely, and still can't get in.

The only way the housing crash would affect them is if they sold. But for the vast majority of homeowners, it would not matter.

Crash. I want a house.

It's getting harder because entities like NPR are too afraid to call people like Trump or Cruz what they are: liars. They pussyfoot around reality using a decorum that the pig fuckers aren't above abusing.

Legacy news outlets need to improve their ability call out garbage. They need to take less money from corporate interests, particularly when they're the very same as the politicians.

Oh, stop. It's a sexist, homophobic, unfunny shit pile.

In 2022 it was still Twitter.

Oh, he's a never-nude too! I didn't see him at the convention last year in Berlin. There were literally dozens of us there. Dozens!

They're ignoring supply and demand by keeping rents up in dense areas. That allows them to withstand empty units. Moreover, there are tools created to help them determine the right ratio of empty units to keep in order to maximize profit through reduction in management as well as maintaining an occupancy balance.

It's downright insipid.

I do not. Not one iota. That being said, I'm an American who's been around the world twice and speaks multiple languages. I consider myself reasonably left, but in this country I am extreme left. Our politicians are bought and paid for by lobbyists. The few who tend to be honest are either marginalized or silenced.

My vote counts for nothing. I will still vote in earnest.

I hate this time line so much.

Oh, sure. Nothing ever happens like that with cops. They never turn their cameras off or lie.

Man. Seeing the alt text really makes these posts slap. Makes me wish I was blind.

Yeah, but this is day two of a criminal procedure. To date, Trump has only FAFO'd on civil trials. Shit's about to get real different if he plays around in the same way.

This shit has actual consequences.

The Onion found this too incredible.

The list is immense. I would almost prefer a list of brands okay to buy from, free of zionist support. It would be smaller and easiest to maintain.

A couple hundred thousand is a pittance if he's keeping shit together. When CEOs push 500 to over a million at a nonprofit, that's absurdity.

Few people deserve ire to this degree. He happens to be one of them.

Agreed. One man's mold is another man's psychedelic substance. It's a subjective line that varies for everyone.

AI is easy because the line is clear.

I know a dude who's legs are purple from the knees down. He weighs around 400 pounds, slams sugar all the time, and doesn't care.

I am not friends with him; his personality and lack of self care as well as caring for himself, despite having a wife, kids, and parents who love him are beyond the limits of my compassion. At some point I feel like we have to take ownership of our own lives and at least try.

Before I get swarmed with responses about depression, how hard is it, etc., he has a massive support group. Every time he gets more assistance, he accepts it and just continues as he is.
