Poplar?

That was reassuring to hear, so I went ahead with it and so far it's looking good. Thanks for the comment.

I've done that, /home and /var on the HDD. The larger apps I use (libreoffice, gimp, firefox) I set up as flatpak user installs, and many others I use as AppImages, keeping them in my home directory. I haven't set it all up but it looks doable.

Thanks for the response :)

The issue with having /usr/bin and stuff on the HDD then mounting it to the SDD is that both system software I want to using the SSD for faster booting and packages I install will both end up on the HDD. I need some way of only having non-system software on the HDD.

Thanks, that sounds like it would work. But it also seems fragile since it would be up to me to keep track of everything.

So far I have found flatpak user installs but I'm looking for other solutions that would work generally for packages I install through apt.

That icon goes way too hard for an uptime tracker.

Would be nice if you could mark this nsfw, it's pretty disgusting.

That was the original. Evolution of the meme:

In retrospect I should've posted the second image, seems funnier.

I know an apprentice when I see one. See you at high council.

distract from the have vs have-not's debate

We can debate multiple things at once.

then let's obsess about ... Then back to square one

All those issues are important. So yes, we absolutely should obsess about those for however little they end up being hot, because these conversations are important. They bring attention to stuff and can change minds which is an effect that lingers on.

And it seems wrong taking "not being insecure" as "accept everything", it seems to be more of "not being insecure about discussing gender inequality and such."

Does everyone in the comments know this is true or just assume its true? OP please share sources for the rest of us.

This is an issue with authoritarianism. I don't think it's ever accurate or useful blanket blaming Muslims.

(P.S let's not forget many of our countries buy Saudi oil, we're funding this regime and what it does.)

SMH they snuck trans agenda past us

I really didnt put all that thought into it when I posted this (certainly wasn't looking to evangelize Rust). It was mildly amusing (memory safety came to mind) and I needed a title somewhat related to the meme was really all there was to it.

I don't mind somewhat nsfw memes but I dont want to see straight up porn whether furry or not.

Those are two very separate moods and it feels jarring seeing one when I'm here to see some funny.

Good lord a mathematician and a soldier.

The link to an article from 1999 refers to an entirely different case where a woman was executed during the previous rule of Afganistan by the Taliban. It isnt being used as evidence for this event.

I'm not sure why you dismiss the Independent but here's the AP reporting the same: https://apnews.com/article/afghanistan-taliban-public-execution-stadium-73a175aef085f26bd6b574465be34c6f

When Christian fundamentalists dictate weird rules for what women should wear, let's condemn them.

When Muslim fundies do the same, (going much further in fact) let's accuse the poster of hate 🙃

The singular of "theory" isnt "theorem". Its "theory", and the plural is "theories".

No idea what the comments are on about. 4chan is where "kike" and "removed" are used as prepositions. Home of /pol/, etc. You have to be clueless or want to mislead if youre implying greentexts represent 4chan.

Something about her username seems off if you ask me :P

I don't think that solves things because I can just come up with a scenario where all these issues don't exist, it's clear what's actually missing is rules like consent.

So, an example without these issues: someone is kidnapped (drugged, it was painless) and a surgeon without consent removes their kidney, to be used to help a dirt-poor dying child. No threat of infection, no hypothetical of it being sold to an exploitative rich person, etc. but we still have the problem the meme points.

Why not switch over progressively? Each time I notice a service I'm logging into was registered using my gmail account, I change it (if I'm free).

Folks, the website logo has the nazi black sun symbol. Not to mention the site being called "nationalisti" and having "politically incorrect" as the subtitle.

Don't give them your traffic. Report the user, they seem to be promoting it, see their post history.

They really shouldn't have omitted in the title that it's rejected asylum seekers they want to repatriate.

So if we arent open to understanding something as important to being human as gender, why not toss out all other fields that also study human social lives. Bye to anthropology, sociology, etc.

Agreed, would've still been funny placing the "I'm fucking sorry man" after the second sentence.

EDIT: Bored so I went ahead and removed that line.

I dont get the comic either but if anything I think we can agree the way mother pigs are restrained in farrowing cages for so long doesnt seem right.

Theyve been quite clear what counts as good is what god commands. Which means those are all actually good. That also makes god's goodness very meaningful.

I loved it :)

I didnt care for all the musicians and would instead watch regular people doing stuff or showing off parts of their lives, and get to occasionally ask them about their interests for example.

A chat with a tailor at work, someone showing off their farm, two random irish dudes in their living room, etc.

I keep tabs open as a sort of "read page later" list. I never seem to get to reading them though.

Person who came up with blahaj must have gotten a fat as fuck raise

While I dont know how more moderate groups handle it, instruments other than the traditional hand-drum called the 'daf' is forbidden.

That rant was not very coherent, I had some bad family experiences that were fresh, I will delete it.

Im angry something regressive like the burka gets representation. People should be aware of how incredibly degrading the rhetoric that is used to justify women covering everything except their eyes is.
