Only my main machine runs Windows, my server and my machine running my 3D printers are running Linux (though different flavors)
My main machine runs Windows primarily due to the Adobe Suite which doesn't work well with WINE
I would if I could play Forza Horizon on it.
if you have an AMD GPU it will run fine on Linux
It seems like NVIDIA is technically possible but has severe issues with it though
I have a nVidia unfortunately. And the thing I'm more worried about is that my system is running on the edge while playing so I doubt it will run as smooth on Linux.
On the other hand I am currently looking for a decent ThinkPad and that's getting a fresh Linux Mint installation.
Terrible time to warm up to Red Hat or Ubuntu though.
Why?
Snap packages and Red Hat turning Open Source stuff into Closed Source.
Red hat because they are more or less becoming anti open source. Unbuntu because it's cool to hate.
May I suggest you try to warm up to Linux
