It's a mini Stirling hot air engine, never seen one that shape before but here's a video of one working

Wow! That's some quick work.

Well a picture of an image with a quick comment to the YouTube ad for the thing ought to be kinda suspicious…

Nah, I honestly did find this in an ad from one of those shitty Chinese crap sites and had no idea what it was because the text, as it usually does, only said "make great deals 80% off", omitting information about the product, the low quality workmanship and generally horrible working conditions of the poor workers producing the shit.

I just thought it would be a curious shitpost because the contraption made no sense to me. I'm guessing the commenter above did a reverse image search.

Nah I've got something similar - not exactly like this but the glass tube with heat exchanging mesh and space underneath for a burner is pretty distinctive - then searched "Stirling engine heart arrow" and tons of these came up

Is that steel wool in the front? Probably a science demonstration. If you quickly increase pressure in the air vessel up front by shooting the bow, the temperature spikes up enough to ignite the steel wool.

The "string" is a metal beam tho. No bow action here.
