Ukraine Defence Forces confirm liberation of the ruines of Klishchiivka

Never have I cared so genuinely for places I have never before known about and cannot pronounce.

What do all these flags represent?

The left and right are different parts of the historical coat of arms. The black one is a parody of the nazi, eagle and swastika? I'm not sure.

The trident, is the seal-trident of Volodymyr the Great, the first Grand Prince of Kyiv. As time went on, his children had their own signs that grew more complex but eventually became simpler, and altogether forgotten.

Eventually people began to associate themselves with the old rulers sign, including the military and state, as form of national pride.

Another fact: the modern yellow and blue flag is not the sky and a grain field. Infact, for years they flew the yellow above the blue. It's a color pattern coming all the way back from Kievan Rus’.

This was a fun video about some that stuff: https://youtu.be/Gqgh2U0YkTs?si=gUy8zYO-c5Bla0Gm

Edit: it's also worth pointing out: The red and black motif (on the parody flag) isn't asccociated with fascism; it is their representation of fighting facism. The colors were used by the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, before being switched back to blue and yellow.

Here's another video: https://youtu.be/zrfmuD5Gahs?si=K5h5ax5PAUiP44SX

I wish I could read the text on the flags. If anyone can provide a translation, I'd give you my left leg.

Edit 2: Upon further study, the UIA did attempt to create a mono-ethnic state. This situation is complex, indeed.

The black and red flag reads "Na Vistri Sqyca" which according to google translates to "The point of a/the spear". In combination with the information provided by the videos you linked I would guess that this is the flag of a nationalist division or battalion of the ukrainian military.

Okay so apparently pointing out that a flag looks a little fashy is something that can get your comment deleted off this community. Good to know.

Probably because you asked why they are allowed to fly a nazi flag rather than saying it "looks a little fashy".

Lots of flags look a little fashy. Flags themselves are a bit weird in that sense.
