Just wanted to list a website that’s keeping track of some alternatives being made per subreddit.

In my opinion, until our numbers are large enough, we should be bringing content to more broad magazines instead of sitting alone in niche communities. Spreading put will make the fediverse seem empty and discourage more people joining. Coalescing in larger, more broad mags will show that there is a robust, active community, and it also may introduce people to new topics they would have otherwise missed.

But I'm not your dad so do you :)

This are the subreddits I followed on Reddit and their kbin magazine equivalent (most are dead, with no activity)

Be the change you want to see in the world

I try. I created this magazine

https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom

I try to keep posting stuff, and ask for feedback, as I want this to work

https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom/t/26090/So-what-do-we-do
https://kbin.social/m/NihonFalcom/t/35763/Leave-your-feedback-here

But no luck

Also, this magazine

https://kbin.social/m/ShinMegamiTensei

But I had an accident and I've been 2 days out, so no content posted. Also, I can't be 24/7 here, I have a life to take care too. I do what I can, even if it's just a little compared to other users

I don't have any interest in the content but I will boost and comment for a few days to see if it helps.
You can also boost and like yourself to give it some initial juice. Don't be shy as you're trying to build something from scratch.
I can also recommend hitting some similar but more active communities on other instances and cross post some stuff with the links to your magazines. Some people might show interest.

I moved r/ColoradoPolicies over to m/ColoradoPolitics. Small but every bit helps.
