Trump isn’t the GOP’s biggest problem. Abortion is.

It's funny, because GOP politicians had been dangling the anti-abortion carrot in front of their base for 50 years. It was obvious that they never really wanted to "win" the battle, but always have it as a campaign promise.

The Mitch McConnell went and stole a couple of supreme court seats and they couldn't stop dangling that carrot any more and had to deliver. Therefore completely fucking themselves over by galvanizing almost an entire generation against them.

A lot of pro life people wanted abortions, just not for anyone else. Now that it actually affects them they aren't happy about it

I would have thought the open fascism and corruption is also an issue, but that’s just me.

They both are. Support from Trump was an albatross around your neck last election.

It is this. Women's right and Trump are equally a problem for the Republicans.
