My common warm common cold is going away! I'm still coughing, but no sneezing or running nose. My appetite is also back to the usual, and I don't feel disgusted at passion fruit juice any more. (Seriously, passion fruit juice is delicious... unless your smelling is affected, then it becomes awful.)
I also caught a cold a few weeks ago for the first time since the pandemic started, negative PCR and everything. It was weird to be sick but not violently ill like when I had COVID, I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and it just never happened. Hope you feel better soon!

Laid in a hospital bed, post op. Sore but otherwise ok. TIL that they now glue you back together, I have no stitches.

I heard a story somewhere that super-glue was originaly design exactely for this purpose, to glue wounds shut.

I've spend way too much time at !imageai@sh.itjust.works. There's this thread where people are encouraged to generate an image based on their username and I've been spending hours making images for everyone. It's a ton of fun and I love the positive reactions I've gotten from everyone.
I don't recall having this much fun interacting with people on Lemmy before, it's just been a very positive experience. Wish stuff like this happens more often.

Half day to go and I survived this week! Have been exhausted but also satisified!

One more day of work and tonight we’ll go see Le Youth DJ set. I know nothing about their music so this should be fun.
Hurt my foot last Sunday on a fall hike, and missed any and all subsequent fall visits since then. My wife and daughter were looking forward to the next ones, so that sucks.
