$92 billion being funneled to privately-owned automakers instead of even half of that being put towards good public transportation. But yay, I'm glad Ford/GM/Stallantis are getting some good bonuses off this. It's about time they got another taxpayer-funded bailout.

And the electric bicycle industry -- which is bigger than the electric car industry in terms of units sold, making e-bikes the real "EVs" -- gets ignored by both the government and the folks criticizing it!

If not hydrogen cars, it will be something like e-fuels. The point is that the replacement for existing vehicles must be able to fully match the abilities of them, or it won't happen.
