I’m just waiting for a friend at a place where there are only people I don’t want to interact with. And I’ve got a headache. Normally I’d browse garbage content mindlessly. Look at me fediverse, now I’m producing mindless garbage content!

I feel like I spent much of my youth waiting. Waiting for the weed guy, waiting for my friends to come, or my parents to get home. For a while there I was measuring time in cigs, not recommended.

Yeah, I know the feeling. I had to wait for about 30 minutes for a haircut and didn't have much on my phone to look at. I was in the middle of this Blue Archive video when I got called up. Just finished it now:

Dunno. Books require attention for a longer time. Not exactly what I was looking for me.

Try subscribing to /m/books & reading about books, and maybe you'll find some you're interested in.

When you get into reading, you get engrossed enough in the plot of your current book that you can read for just 10 minutes at a time and it has your full attention.

Also, reading about books is its own kind of fun.

I started /m/fantasy, but it sadly doesn't have many subscribers or posts yet.
