What's the best ChatGPT app?PaleRider@lemmy.world to Asklemmy@lemmy.ml – 3 points – 1 years agoJust wondering if anyone uses an app for ChatGPT.7Post a CommentPreviewHotTopNewOldCatGPTApp? Uh...idk about app, per se. Perplexity.ai is a search engine, it's like Google on steroids. I'm researching online graduate programs, and I like how I can ask for tables to compare different programs side by side easily. With Google, I'd have to manually create that. Perplexity.ai has an app, if that counts...I don't use it at all. Overhyped toy IMHO.There is an opensource Alternative i like called huggingface : https://huggingface.co/chat/ https://github.com/huggingface . You can even try different models and languages. I wouldn’t normally promote bing but I’ve been playing around with the bing iOS app that has chat gpt 4 in it. It’s pretty amazing.I just have a shortcut on my homescreen to the site. It's such a simple interface, why would it need an app?Either the chatgpt website on desktop, or the official chatgpt iOS app
