I’m interested to see reviews from actual users of this thing. Seems like a very neat idea. $350 is wayyyyyy too much for me, but if I can get one for $100-$150 some day and they’re decent, I’d definitely consider it

I have a hard time believing the pixel density is going to be high enough for this to be any good.

Yeah in general I’m skeptical of all of it, but I’d love for it to be good

Seems like a solution in search of a problem. I use my e-reader specifically because it’s very similar to reading a real book. This is… not that, nor is it going to be compelling to my 9 year old, who just views books as one more type of content to be consumed on a general purpose device.

I do like the idea of headsets with adjustable diopters. My glasses only barely fit into current hardware.

There are certainly times where I'd like to just lay back in bed or on a plane not holding anything in my hands and just tune out the world and read a book with absolutely no distractions. So I can see the appeal. But yes I do think it's kind of a niche thing and one that likely wouldn't be a full replacement for an e-reader, which makes it's cost hard to justify.

Meh from me. For me the big point of reading on phone is that I can quickly switch away from it. So I can read a book while commuting and still be aware of what's going on around me.

It could solve the problem of reading in a car on a bumpy road, though
