There's no question there. It's a statement. And the second part mirrors the conditions set forth in Umberto Eco's Ur Fascism.

This headline could have been much shorter:

“Democrats fear fascism, Republicans embrace it.”

One side is fearful while the other is merely worried. Does that feel like loaded language to anybody else or am I being paranoid about subconscious manipulation by the media?
