You read the name. You know what I am.

Wow. Samsung Innovation is truly big!

A leak suggests the OnePlus Watch 2 will instead run on Wear OS 4.

Saved you a click.

How has it taken them so long to realise that the bottom navigation UI means reachable UI elements?!

Love this. If only call recording were built into this app... Even as a root-only feature, that'd be great.

I have a genuine curiosity for what you think thumbnails should be? If not this, then what?

The thumbnail shows the product, shows the general reactions.

What else do you want?

Dumbest fucking decision ever. The chip's name was never the problem. And renaming it isn't gonna recover whatever brand damage has occurred.

Sort out your chip making strategy and make good fucking chips. Or don't make chips at all.

Why even produce something if you're not gonna conduct the absolute basic quality testing?

The problem with this kind of testing is that they do not ask you whether or not you want to be a part of this particular form of testing, and by default opt you into it.

I smell bullshit.

Goddammit u/spez! Why you gotta fkn ruin everything!

Maybe God is just entropy? The randomness of life and the probability of things happening?

Eternity. Although there are issues with replies and the inbox.

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with Thunder for replying to comments, and Eternity for literally everything else.

My frend... He is the joking... 🤌🏼

You can't read other notes. Only create blank notes. Samsung has had this for millennia.

Android does have that. This is about apps that we're malicious and intentionally stayed active in the background... That's what Mishaal talks about. You can look for what you want on any Android phone. In the Battery Usage section of the App Info page, you'll see 3 options. Unrestricted is the one to use for what you seek.

Idk if it's the same in all skins of Android, but this is for a Stock Android custom ROM.

Here's the MiUI skin's variation:

I haven't used these ROMs... Do they have their own apps? I've used Lineage... They have some nifty apps that look cool, but they're still being developed.

Actually, now that I think of it, I forgot the Lineage project exists. Nevermind 🤦🏻‍♂️

I'd rather they connect to my phone via a kind of hotspot thing.

Any plans for Anilist?

The point of an app is to be on your phone. The portability is gone once you get the actual scanner.

The sidebar?

How does Google have 4 different Voice Input technologies for essentially the same product?!

The Gboard uses the new Speech Services. But Assistant uses a better thing... Which is slow at times. But there's still many Google apps using the old shitty Speech utility. And then there's YouTube. Goddamn.

Because they did a similar thing a while back...

OneNote is really hard to beat. It is in fact my "killer app" that is keeping me from moving to Linux for my personal computer.

My dude. This is so relatable.

I switched to Obsidian a while back after they introduced the Canvas plugin. As much as I love Obsidian, it's not an entire replacement for OneNote. 🥹

The Inking support, the syncing.

On Obsidian, I've set up a custom solution... I created a Mega account (20GB for free). Then I set it up to sync my Obsidian Vault folder. Then, I got an app called "Auto Sync for Mega" for my Android smartphone. That I linked with the Obsidian Vaults folder on my phone. This is a rudimentary, but simple and cost-effective way of sync.

I read somewhere that you can use GitHub to sync stuff... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh that's awesome! I have had Awesome Windows lists before but hadn't stumbled across one on Codeberg yet. Nice.

Wait, iPhones use NVME?

How about Socialite?

What's the difference? I don't own a smartwatch so I'm not really in the know.

I mean, that's a good idea. But they generate so much heat that mid-range devices just won't work. The issue, as far as I have seen, is heating. The performance is good for, as you said, mid-range devices.

What a shocker. Samsung's process has such a bad track record that I'd think that even Google would stop asking them 🫡

RIP your phone.

Well, if you likey that chonky boi, you go get that chonky boi.

On a serious note, ROMs are an issue. Bootloader unlocking isn't consistently available on most major phones and Xiaomi is the only company I know of at the moment that provides everything necessary to tinker with your phone.

Could you cite the source for those dbs?

Why are Exynos chips so bad?! 😭

Downvotes are to display disagreement. So if I disagree, I downvote.

Edit: I think people have misunderstood my point. What you use the button for isn't relevant here... The button is for voting whether you like or dislike something. If you don't find something interesting, you don't vote, and if it seems Irrelevant, you invoke the Moderators.

I mean, of course. Can you imagine a financially accessible Apple product letting you make hardware changes?

It's active baiting, and I'm tired of it...

I can't see myself saying "I use Immich". It feels like something that's a local cultural name instead of a brand name... you know?

This is just a nitpick tho...

I still kinda miss the first gen throwback design... They could've updated that design... Atleast try 🥹
