Why does the Reddit community on Lemmy get that big pink banner (which I've redacted) advertising the Barbie movie?
It's the first advertising I've seen on Lemmy, and for my eyeballs it's not a welcome intrusion.
Jeez, I hope Lemmy and the fediverse will be powered by enthusiasm and donations, not by advertising.

I should probably be excited about talking to "Margot Robbie", but I'm just happy I managed to tag someone correctly on the first try!
