Depends on the way it's framed. If you frame it as providing off-grid energy for the unreliable electricity grid provided by the country and less dependence on foreign oil, you can probably sell to the right wing as well.Because fuck the government and fuck foreigners.

Well my Trump voting brother in law has solar and he bitches because it's underperforming but is surrounded by trees and wont trim them so he just goes on bitching that solar is not the answer.
