Are you sure you wouldn't call it "back bacon"? Because Canadian bacon isn't ham. It's a kind of bacon.

Hey you guys aren't innocent of adulterating foods either, just look at your ketchup-flavored potato chips. Then ship them all to PEI and throw them in the ocean because they are disgusting.

I'm with you except I substitute the jalapenos with banana peppers. I've never been a fan of jalapenos though. I find something in their flavor strange.
I'm not a fan of banana peppers interestingly enough, although I do sometimes substitute the jalapenos for green peppers at times when I'm feeling concerned about heartburn or something like that...
It's equally good that way too, IMHO.
