I paid for the sync app on Reddit back when it was like $2 or 5. I'm not paying $99 to remove ads. I know there are dev costs, but there aren't any API costs here right?
I'll still use Sync here until I see what Boost brings over it's released.
Was $26 CAD here.
Removing ads is $20, the lifetime cloud subscription is $99. $99 is definitely a high price tag, but I suppose if you plan to use this app for the next decade it may well be worth it.
Which is a big assumption to make on such a young site.
Part of it is that it this dudes only job, he left his old job to work on a reddit app and they pulled the rug out from under him. There are people out there that don't mind kicking him a hundred bucks and in a space where a lot of people are tech workers they can afford it.
