Time to get back on and finish up Endwalker. Graphics update seems awesome.

I dunno how they're going to justify fighting things in fantasy Mesoamerica that are stronger than the literal incarnation of despair, but I guess we'll see.

Maybe it will be more chill expansion with no high stakes but more of a setup. We shall sea

Yoship said during the fanfest keynote that the expansion should be kind of a vacation for the WoL (at least I'm remembering him.saying that). I mean, you can't raise the stakes higher than the death of the entire universe so you've just gotta work yourself back. They already have dynamis as an explanation as to why we were able to fight something like the villain of endwalker so it'd be pretty easy for them to say we're not as strong because we don't need to be.

Anyway I think it'll be nice to have a more relaxed expansion

Hope it's good. Feels a bit weird going from Endwalker which honestly felt like a definitive ending to what looks like a beach episode in Mexico lol. I actually thought we'd be spending less time with the scions too and meet new characters instead but I guess not? I'm still excited though. Need to find some time to catch up to 6.5 before summer next year

Let's not forget what "hype" we had for Endwalker.

"I can't believe Endwalker is going to take us all the way to a finale against Zodiark ON THE MOON!! So hype!" (If you've finished Endwalker, you know)

Shadowbringers and Endwalker were so fucking good. This is an instant preorder and I'm going to book time off just to enjoy it.

So much amazing stuff in there.

I liked the subleties of the graphics update, at first I thought "so what", but then I noticed more and more stuff in each of the screenshots, like the actually 3D plants, or the increased density of the foliage, or the higher res textures on the houses, and so on.

And of course, two dye channels per item!
