How can I trust that we as a company can moderate content on our platforms equitably for our users, when I see how we moderate content internally

Hi, Welcome to reality.

Are they doing any moderation? 80% of my feed is AI generated engagement bait no matter how much I report it.

I really need to just stop opening that webpage.

The engagement bait is on propose.
The original feed that would show you whatever your friends posted is long dead. They've gone out of their way to ensure everything is corpo garbage or outrage bait.

I really need to just stop opening that webpage.

Yup

I’m glad watermelons are getting the press they deserve. Watermelons are delicious.

I'm allergic (intolerant) and dont really miss them. Watermelon and feta salad with mint was great though.

I love watermelon, but its really high in FODMAPs. :(

Farts are worth it.

Haha. If only it was just that. My IBS is triggered by them. If I am diligent in avoiding them, I have a normal life.

Worth noting that there is a direct correlation between gluten percentage and fodmap percentage in foods, and many people who believe they are gluten sensitive are likely FODMAP sensitive and missed the target on their self-diagnosis. And likely, they aren't having 100% normal digestion because they are missing the bigger picture of what FODMAPs are and just how many food sources contain high amounts of them.

I miss garlic, onions and mushrooms a lot too.

Was expecting this to be about something served on Juneteenth

There was a company that did fried chicken and watermelon I think. I saw it somewhere on Lemmy
