[labwc] baby steps with Alpine
slowly putting together a new system – I didn’t plan on it being a lightweight system, it’s just kinda ended up that way (and probably won’t be by the time I finish) – actually finding it kinda fun building up piece-by-piece
- Alpine Linux
- labwc (straight from tty, no DM yet)
- foot terminal
- Fira Sans and Fira Mono fonts
- fog_forest_alt_1 from Everforest Walls
- gruvbox-material-dark-blocks Openbox theme
- gruvbox-dark foot theme
Using a non-GNU user space as one’s daily driver is a bold choice. 🍀
OP can um actually you back if you try to correct them into saying they use GNU slash linucks
Just found about about labwc. Sounds like a really cool project. And looks very nice :) Are you going with a particular defined colour scheme/palette or just making it up as you go along?
mostly focusing on gruvbox (but noticed that the cooler colors of everforest for the wallpaper pairs up nicely with the warmer colors of gruvbox for the UI)
