Once Jitsi Meet support E2EE, it will be the FOSS go to option
Zoom has always rubbed me the wrong way, and that was before knowing any of the info in this article. Now I have even more of a reason to avoid it.
Two years ago, the whole tech dept left zoom after security concerns for jitsi in our own servers. Then the whole company followed last year.
I wish my uni would move away from Zoom. Unfortunately, it was the darling du jour when the pandemic started, and in the crisis of the moment, no one bothered to look for alternative.
Could be worse; we pay for an unlimited WebEx site license and they still insist on using zoom :/
Jitsi for the clear win here!
