Why do people on YouTube say "Lol they liked their own comment"? How do they know, and also I thought YouTube discredited self-likes?

I'm getting the vibe that they're really saying "This comment is stupid and nobody would like it, henceforth the one like must be the poster's.".

Likes are anonymous on YouTube.

no, He's merely expounding on his original question, he knows that likes are invisible on YouTube, so why do people call out others for liking their own comments /videos when there's no way for anyone to know who clicked "like"
