This is quality.

I don't get it, and I'm not sure I want to..

Robin Hood made a lot of people grow up to be furries.

I would have thought Space Jam would have had more to do with that. Furries as a concept isn’t as popular with the 50 yr old crowd.

Kids were watching that stuff on VHS for at least 30 years after, well into the 2000s. My first job as a teenager was at a video rental shop in the late 90s. Robin Hood, Secret of NIHM, Lion King, All Dog's go to Heaven, Balto and the like were always super popular, even the low budget sequels.

That makes a lot of sense. It’s easy to forget life before DVDs & streaming, the latter being so damn normal now.

Furries started to become a group in the 70s, with people who would've grown up with Robin Hood.

I never got the thing with the fur suits and the weird subculture stuff, but for this particular reference? Yeah, I get it.

Raven from Teen Titans did me for goth girls Jessie Bannon from Johnny Quest did it for red heads.

Funny you mention that, I just saw some "art" of Robin Hood and Nick Wilde that is 10/10, lol.

This is going to drive me crazy. I recognize the gif but can't place it. Those are pumpkin seeds I think. That's the only context I can remember.

We may see this meme format re-appear again, but for the next gen. RemindMe! 7 years [Zootopia gen]
