There's a QR code on r/place that links here and it seems some of the pixels are suddenly changing without any users attached to those changes -- unlike everywhere else

Why do people still care about this shit?

Why do people care that people care?

I am interested in hearing what happens at reddit because it affects how likely people are to leave, and where they might go if they do leave.

They're not going to just up and leave like so many are hoping for. The decline of Reddit will be gradual.

Millions of fucking users aren't going to just leave all at once.

Who cares where they go and what they do? I’m seriously asking: why does this matter to you? They’re strangers that have no relevance to anyone.

Let them stay on Reddit and do their thing. You’re here. Do your thing here. But plastering Reddit shit all over the place here is FUCKING ANNOYING.

I imagine they care in the interest of building Lemmy up and wanting to see it grow.

Damn dude, if you're so FUCKING ANNOYED by reddit talk maybe block the community literally called "reddit" and move on?

I didn’t want to have to because I don’t like blocking anyone, let alone entire communities- but that obsessive shit is obnoxious, but good call. Blocked and done with it.

I mean, I get the sentiment. But this community is literally about reddit shit lmaoo

Are you fucking lost? What is the name of the community you are posting in? Besides that, apply your comment to your own comment. Who cares what others do? Obviously you do because you're bitching about the conversation being about Reddit.... On a community dedicated to talking about Reddit? Gasp!

Why wouldn't you want more engagement with lemmy? If people leave Reddit they might come here and grow communities/content which this place sorely needs.

Caring about people leaving Reddit won’t make people leave Reddit. It just annoys people on lemmy.

Block the Reddit community then lmao, you're walking into a strip club then complaining about seeing boobs.

It's interesting to follow Reddit's downfall from afar imo. It's already happening us caring is just us tracking what's happening.

I'll try to give you a good faith answer. Because this is a fun social experiment that has taken place for years. The results are skewed if it is tampered with.

But who cares? Let them tamper with it. It’s Reddit. Fuck them.

I already answered that. So.....I guess we're done here. Good luck to you buddy.

You didn’t, but that’s cool. No worries.

Imagine walking into the cafe, just to complain about the amount of coffee being present...

No, more like, imagine walking into a cafe for a coffee, and finding out that the place is filled with people that do nothing but bitch about another cafe.

No, more like, imagine walking into a cafe for a coffee

The cafe in the analogy describes /c/reddit

finding out that the place is filled with people that do nothing but bitch about another cafe.

Referring to people complaining about Reddit...

So you go into /c/Reddit and are annoyed that people area complaining about Reddit. Just block this community then?

More like, imagine walking into a cafe and thinking you can dictate what other people are talking about because you don't like it, instead of just finding a table with conversation you enjoy.

Going up to tables and telling them to talk about something different is about 1000x more annoying than the initial issue, especially when the topic of conversation is clearly labeled on the table and you have the ability to completely mute them. Inexplicably, you seem to have decided bitching at them would be more productive than just curating your feed like everyone else.
