Day 41 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots (Sea of Thieves)

MyNameIsAtticus@lemmy.world to Games@lemmy.world – 219 points –

I was playing Sea of Thieves with some friends today. Game bugged out or something because they started rendering as skeletons instead of their avatars. So i guess i have my own literal skeleton crew now

29

Keep going! Since you started doing this I have:

  • Crossed the Pacific Ocean

  • Merlt my sisters biological family

  • Gotten a very large chest tattoo

  • Gave a dog back

  • Got given a new dog

  • Got a sweet new electric bicycle

  • Quit my job

  • Got a new job

All of that is 100% true, I swear to God.

sometimes i forgot how many days 41 days actually are. it's very impressive what a person can accomplish in that time frame

Did they have the skeleton PVP curse?

nope. it's weird. This isnt the first time it's happened (one of my friends got a screenshot on their end of me dabbing as a skeleton), but it is the first time i managed see it

Nope, this specific green tinted skeleton is what the game uses as a fallback if there's some issue with loading or displaying a player model.

The PvP curses look different.

Apparently skeleton skins are earnable through a list of bullshit that I was interested in a whole back. But it's too much work for little reward imo.

The game is fun and gorgeous though. I do enjoy just dropping anchor somewhere and fishing for a while.

oh, that's even more intersting then, because ik for a fact none of us have the skeleton curse (none of us have even touched any of the requirements). i wonder if it was a server issue

Honestly sea of thieves is a really good game. It's the perfect play something while taking with your mates kind of game. Interesting gameplay which does not take away too much fokus and somehow a rather dynamic world and feel most session

that's how we are too, its a very relaxing game to play (at least until i see a skeleton ship and steer us straight towards it)

Haven't played in around a year and a half. Shame, it had been a weekly thing for our little 3 person crew. We had even started to be able to hold our own in PvP ship battles.

it's a fun game. I feel like it nails enough points to nab all kinds of different player's attention. i get not playing though, it can be hard to find time though as we get older (at least that's what i'm finding out as i get older)

You best start believing in ghost stories. You're in one.

Please don't forget to post because legitimately joyful seeing these posts

i have lots of fun memories of playing this game with my friends. like the one time we left the captain to man everything on the galleon by himself because we all took our clothes off and cuddled on the captains bed 😂

Our crew consists of me, which everyone only lets be captain because no one else wants too, our "cook" who keeps setting the ship on fire, and the first mate who isn't allowed to steer ever since he drove us over an island somehow

Try Factorio

it's on my list after i finally get around to finishing (or as close to finishing as i can get) satisfactory

I’ve been really enjoying Shapez2 after getting back into Factorio in preparation for the Shapez2 release. In the end very similar, but I’d say Shapez is like creative mode of factorio and doesn’t have any blatant colonialism lol.

This is really random, but could you go back to omitting the title of the game from the title of the post? I’m possibly the only one, but guessing the game before looking at the post text has become a sort of daily game for me.
