Edit 2: OK it’s not this guy but I’ll leave it as it was; original edit below:
Jonathan Steven Ferguson is a British firearm historian and author who is currently the Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, England.
Thanks @ElectroLisa@lemmy.blahaj.zone :)
Unironically, "The vibes here are immaculate. Come enjoy a goated day out." Is a great slogan for a museum.
He nailed the delivery on that one too
"His cod piece hits different" guarantee this man never imagined he'd be describing exhibits like that lmao
I knew I was mishearing that
wat
^
This is Jonathan Ferguson the keeper of firearms and artilleries at the Royal Armouries museum
edit: This isn't him on the video btw
Updated thanks!
It's not him on the video though! That is someone else
Oh did he write the script?
That sounds like such a cool job. When I was younger, I used to binge-watch so many videos on Forgotten Weapons, even the really obscure ones like the lecture about firearm markings from 1880 to 1945. Then I lost my interest in the subject because I had other things to do, but if I had had the time and opportunities to keep following it, this would've been my dream job. Getting paid to nerd out about your favourite niche hobby. There's probably also a lot of boring stuff he needs to do, paperwork and such, but that'd be worth it.
SLAY!
Do you think that somewhere underground is a big evil witch who feeds on the groans of teens?
I'm glad gen Z is willing to take responsibility for all the cringe millennial slang.
0 cringe fr, no cap.
