If you like eating, speaking and not being in pain I strongly recommend it.
There's a lot of stuff hidden out of sight that will only become noticeable when it's too late. I was in the same position several years ago, back then it was at least 6 years since I last went to the dentist. Got some stern talking to and a trip to the dental hygienist.
I spend a good 45 minutes there crying in pain while she poked that hook of hers in every nook and cranny between my teeth. I was bleeding so much :(
Ermm.. I just realized this might not really motivate you to go. But please do go, prevention is still so much better than the alternative.

Way to go! The older I get the more I’ve learned that dental health is an important part of my overall health.
My elderly parent has been in the ICU for days and struggling to recover from what is normally a routine surgery. Not much i can do from here but try not to let it overwhelm me.
I’m so very sorry, watching a parent struggle like that is so brutal. I’m wishing you and your parent everything good and healthy <3
Hosted my parents for an early thanksgiving last weekend. Happy to have them around, also happy when I'm alone again.
Shit. My employer is mandating working from the office 4 days a week which is an hour away with traffic. We develop a cloud product which can be done anywhere. Planning on updating my resume when I get home tonight.
Sorry to hear that... Hopefully you'll be able to find a place that is more reasonable
On the weekend I got to do my own thing for an entire day. Which was great, but also a reminder how seldom that happens. Been thinking about the situation ever since.
I never moved growing up, so only ever saw 1 dentist, I don't really want to try to find one. I don't want to be told my wisdom teeth need to come out; they don't bother me. I only bleed a little when I do floss and I don't eat/drink much sugar at all. Still though, Yea I need to suck it up and go.
