Storm Shadow sounds like one of the X-Men

I didn't realize where this was and thought it was a weather event. I went to look up what the hell kind of weather a "storm shadow" was that could do that, and realized it was a munition. :p

Dead centre too

I feel like I haven’t seen “centre” in the wild in a while. Honestly forgot it wasn’t just an attempt to make an office complex sound fancy.

I've been wondering why bridge strikes tend to make tiny holes compared to when they hit buildings. Is it because they're penetrating the surface and exploding under, or just that the bridges are much tougher by construction?

Yes, they are 2-stage bunker-penetrating ammunition. Which, from this perspective, doesn't seem to be very effective against bridges.

The bunker busting part is almost too effective, going straight through the thing you want to blow up and then exploding further away

Wasn't this like a month ago?

Different bridge. That was the Chongar Bridge, but there's reports it may have been hit again too.

Update: Both bridges crossing the Chonhar strait were hit.
