The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have said they carried out an airstrike on a humanitarian aid convoy in Gaza aimed at “armed assailants” trying to hijack it but the charity that organised the aid said people killed in the strike were employees of the transport company it was working with.

The convoy, organised by the US-based NGO Anera, was carrying medical supplies and fuel to an Emirati-run hospital in Rafah on Thursday evening at the time of the attack. Its route had been coordinated in advance with the IDF, under a deconfliction process intended to prevent aid vehicles being bombed.

Anera’s Palestine country director, Sandra Rasheed, said: “This is a shocking incident. The convoy, which was coordinated by Anera and approved by Israeli authorities, included an Anera employee who was fortunately unharmed.

The stupidest part for me is Israel's explanation. The trucks were under attack from terrorists so we bombed the trucks.

so in a possible hostage situation as far as IDF claims (the hijacking), you bomb the bad guy with hostages? got it

You are talking about a nation who's current president was accidentally shot by IDF friendly fire, while he was personally storming a hijacked airplane to rescue 60 hostages from palestinian terrorists.

So yeah they are going to take the bad guys out, even if some of the good guys get hurt.

Because the Christians love it. They get to move the clock forward on their rapture and see Muslims die. They consider it a fantastic thing. Because they're monsters.

Raj Amin Al-Huseni was an islamic royalist, and next in line to inherit the kingdom of jersuem to rule as a king.

Wow, most misleading title ever.

How so? Seems pretty clear it was humanitarian aid convoy in Gaza, and it it was Israel that launched an attack on it that killed people.

What's your angle?

The convoy was being used to transport Hamas militants, masquerading as humanitarian aid workers (a war crime fyi). The attack targeted (and struck) only the militants.

Claiming this was an attack on a humanitarian convoy and that some random people were hit is highly misleading
