Not a gag, but I really like how nibbler was set up right from the pilot.

I've always wondered if that was pre-planned or if they just integrated it as the show went on

I think it was added for the DVD and now that's the only version played.

My memory was that it was always there - I never had the dvds as a kid but taped all the episodes when they aired, but have rewatched the dvd versions many more times by now - and it seems that others are saying the same.

Unless the brainspawn have got to us too....

I've skipped dimensions again. Better check if Phil LaMarr is alive here.

Yup. Got 2 things to check for now when the Mandela Effect hits me.

IIRC, he was originally in the pilot, but the writers didn't have a story line planned out for him. They just knew they wanted to integrate him in some way, shape or form, so they went for it.

I'm pretty sure this gag is from when Fry joins the police, but it always cracks me up.

The same episode he also mentions having a lot of paperless work to do. Not a background gag but a great line nonetheless.

Gotta be the gym scene where the woman is working out on the "Kegelcizer" and just squinting

I love the radiator woman from the radiator planet attending Fry's funeral.

Omg I don't have one or I don't remember. Thank You for giving me a reason to rewatch n-time this masterpiece with this side quest!

Definitely when Bender eats one fat free potato chip and a pile of bricks fall out his ass. Fry never comments on it.

Olestra was a fat-free "oil" manufacturers were using in potato chips, and there was a bunch of press about it causing diarrhea.

I love the follow up to this one of the times his ass plate is missing
