"We're living in a completely amoral society."

Christofascists being completely incapable of acting morally without the threat of external violence is an indictment on you, not the rest of us.

It’s not my fault that they think it’s more moral for them to marry a 16 year old than it is for me to marry another woman

I'm looking forward to the day when the people who construct their morals by cherry picking text from a several thousand year old book are considered extremely mentally ill.

Given his role in assisting the January 6th insurgency, it seems that morality isn't part of his character regardless of his religious identity.

He doesn't "believe he can save it"; he believes he can remake it into what he thinks it used to be- a Christofascist intolerant theocracy.

With his wife, Kelly Johnson, as a co-host, Johnson has produced a podcast for the past two years. On the inaugural broadcast in March 2022, Kelly reported what for her was a disturbing poll: “Just 4 percent of Americans still adhere to a biblical world view.” Mike Johnson called that “a real shocking trend.” He remarked, “Even if you’re not a Christian, why should you care about a biblical worldview slipping away from us? Because it happens to be the foundational principle, the premise of the country.” In essence, the United States needs to stick to that “biblical worldview”—or else.

They literally believe that 4% of the country should rule over the rest of us with an iron fist.
