New Skull and Bones leaks suggest forced PvP coming to PS5 and Xbox. Ubisoft is still pitching Skull and Bones as a single-player RPG with co-op, but it sounds more like PvP will be unavoidable.

If you want a single-player RPG, you may want to avoid Skull and Bones altogether

Considering PVP is what I hate about Sea of Thieves, I'm skipping this. Too many cheaters these days, I'm pretty over PVP shit.

And now Sea of Thieves has single player server support.

Heavily nerfed single player support, so might as well not even play, considering you'd have to go into the normal PvP mode to get everything anyway.

Probably an excuse for them to get away with forcing an active internet connection for DRM purposes.

Ubisoft loves doing that shit to paying customers🖕🏾

I just wanted Black Flag without all the land bits, is that too much to ask?

The land bits would be good for navigation and strategy.

But yeah, black flag, hold the Assassin's Creed, is all anyone wanted.

I could take or leave the land bits. I just wanted more ships and more upgrade paths and tradeoffs, with something like the bit where you send ships in your fleet out on jobs.

Come on man, it's Goobiesoft. We need to let then fuck up somewhere

We don't need to they'll do it perfectly well with or without permission.

It's going to be pvp/online/gaas just to sell micro transactions no doubt.

It shouldn't be marketed like that if its not. But I must say I am of the minority that feels more immersed in the game when another pirate gang comes along and wants our loot.

With the Black Flag remaster coming, this game has even less need to exist. The pirate craze is long gone, people will not buy this
