Breaking News. US forces have engaged and shot down Iranian military drones.

Former President Donald Trump sounded off on the Iran attack on Israel at a rally in Pennsylvania tonight. He told the crowd the attack was a product of American weakness. "That's because we show great weakness," he told the crowd at the Schnecksville Fire Company fairgrounds. "This would not happen. The weakness that we've shown, it's unbelievable and it would not have happened if we were in office." Trump added that "America prays for Israel" as Iranian missiles were fired toward the country. Later on, members of the crowd could be heard chanting, "Genocide Joe! Genocide Joe!" to which Trump responded, "They're not wrong."

I honestly don’t know who’s more confused… Trump, or his followers.

Later on, members of the crowd could be heard chanting, “Genocide Joe! Genocide Joe!” to which Trump responded, “They’re not wrong.”

Because Trump would have been so pro-Palestine if he were in charge.

And the people chanting that would totally call him "Genocide Don" if he wasn't.

Hopefully not all of them right? Just the ones that were on target? Because why waste resources on the ones that flew back to homebase?

I'm hoping this doesn't escalate like everyone is saying.

This absurd obsession with refusing to escalate/being afraid of escalation is emboldening our enemies, and is allowing them to escalate and walk all over us without any push back.

They are attacking us right now because they view us as a bunch of chickenshit weaklings that are too afraid to fight back. Our leaders are a pathetic limp wristed disgrace and are doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing to end this now before it spirals out of control.

If we want this to stop we need to completely obliterate their ability to make war in the most overwhelming show of force possible, not keep treating them with the fscking kid gloves.

They are attacking you right now because you attacked them first. Simple as that. Don't start shit you don't want to get involved with.

It's not like they were minding their business and got attacked. Iran is a state sponsor of terror

The bombing of the Iranian embassy was absolutely nothing but pure unadulterated provocation.

Most of them ask the US for help. It's not some kind of gotcha, Ukraine would love US troops to shoot down Iranian drones

Doesn't mean they should go in, like in Vietnam. Nor in Iraq. Nor in Afghanistan. Nor in...

They should definitely help Ukraine more. If US had troops deployed in Ukraine prior to the war the outcome would be better than what is happening now.

I'm not sure how that is relevant, nor how that is backed up by any historical examples of US intervention.

South Korea is free because of the US. Everything would be North Korea now if the US did nothing

Assad asked for Iran's help while fighting ISIS and Turkish backed Islamist militants. Whatever you think about it, they are there legally and with the concent of the government in power.

If you're talking about America, "our" enemies, didn't attack "us," Israel's enemy attacked Israel. Last I checked, Israel was not the 51st state.

Hitler tried to kill off all the jews, and it didn't work. BECAUSE YOU CAN'T KILL AN IDEA. That is also why israel will fail in "destroying Hamas", and Hamas or anyone else will fail in "destroying Israel". Ideas can't be killed through drones or tanks, just people. And killing people just makes ideas stronger. I think there was a prime example of that in Israel, say, 2000 years ago?

Israel is not "an idea." It's a genocidal white supremacist settler-colonialist state. And yes... those can be destroyed. You are correct, though... once destroyed, the white supremacist "idea" of Israel will live on. Just like the white supremacist ideas of the Antebellum South, Nazi Germany, Rhodesia and Apartheid South Africa lives on. But apart from voting for the likes of Trump or joining the KKK they won't have any power in the real world.
