So my understanding of the term doom scroll is it's when you scroll through profoundly negative social media for a long time

Lemmy is positive and healthy so therefore it's funscrolling

Thanks for the definition. I thought it meant never ending scrolling, and that being not healthy, thus the term doom.

Yup, this is the second instance I've seen today of someone misusing the term -- I'm willing to be OP of this meme made it after seeing the other one.
